Job Title: GCP-Certified Data Architect

We are seeking a GCP-Certified Data Architect with over 5 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise architecting scalable, secure, and performant solutions on Google Cloud Platform, particularly using BigQuery and other GCP-native services. Experience in regulated or large-scale environments is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-native data lakehouses on GCP using BigQuery and associated services
- Lead schema design
and access control policy definition for data migration projects (e.g., AWS or Snowflake to GCP)
- Define and implement enterprise-wide metadata strategies using Data Catalog, ensuring robust data lineage, classification, and tagging
- Establish and enforce data security and protection protocols, including VPC Service Controls, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and IAM
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to develop master and reference data models across domains
- Drive modernization initiatives for existing data architectures and guide adoption of cloud-native best practices
- Partner with governance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal data policies
Required Skills and Experience:
- GCP Professional Data Engineer or Data Architect certification
- 5+ years of experience designing and deploying cloud-based data architectures
- Deep expertise with BigQuery, Data Catalog, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Looker
- Proficient in data modeling (OLAP/OLTP, dimensional modeling), metadata management, and data governance frameworks
- Strong knowledge of access control, security perimeters, and compliance requirements in regulated environments
- Proven experience migrating workloads from Snowflake or AWS to Google Cloud
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
